In 1878, the foundation for what was to become Comins Hall was laid.  After 130+ years the Hall sits tall and proud - a historic landmark and a symbol of community spirit.

Eddington - Clifton Civic Center is a registered 501-c(3) not-for-profit organization run by volunteers.  Both volunteers and donations are welcome.

The Hall is available at no charge for public events, programs and projects by any group or organization in Eddington and Clifton, and for private functions for a small fee.  Click here for details.

  • Ice Cream Social Sunday July 22 at 2PM at Parks Pond Campground to benefit the Hall I Scream! You Scream! We All… You know the drill!  Spencer’s Ice Cream will be on hand!  Join us for an ice cream social at Parks Pond Campground (Rt. 9 in Clifton) to benefit Comins Hall.  Look for us under the big white tent!   Rain won't wash out this delicious treat event!Donate what you want!

  • Grant Announcement Exciting News! We are honored to announce that the Morton Kelly CharitableFoundation has awarded a grant of $10,000 to the Eddington Clifton CivicCenter!This grant will be used to help us with our next Hall project: Resetting thefoundation blocks on which Comins Hall rests and to do necessary grading of theparking lot to ensure that the re set blocks rest securely for years to come.We are grateful that Morton Kelly felt our project deserves their support.   • Bottle Shed Please consider leaving your returnable bottles at our shed next to Comins Hall and support a great cause while saving yourself a trip to the redemption center! For now it is benefiting the window restoration project at the hall.
