We have vacant board positions and are looking for good people to help keep this organization running smoothly.

In 1878, the foundation for what was to become Comins Hall was laid.  After 130+ years the Hall sits tall and proud - a historic landmark and a symbol of community spirit.

Eddington - Clifton Civic Center is a registered 501-c(3) not-for-profit organization run by volunteers. 
Both volunteers and donations are welcome.

The Hall is available at no charge for public events, programs and projects by any group or organization in Eddington and Clifton, and for private functions for a small fee.  Click here for details.

  • ECCC ANNUAL MEETING DATE CHANGE Due to Covid-19 crowd limits we have moved our Annual Meeting to Wed. June 10th @ 7p.m. (originally announced for May 13) Yearly and Lifetime members please join us to vote for Board Members and Officers, hear a review of 2019 events, and help us plan our path for 2020 & 2021.  Enjoy yummy desserts.  Please bring your mask.  RSVP if you can attend.  Call 843-6441 and leave a message (no texts please.)

Constantly changing rules to help protect each other from the threat of COVID 19 means that planning events cannot be written in stone. We have posted our planned events for this year on our Events page. Please stop by our website and FB page often to keep up with changes as they happen.   • The Roof is Done! Thanks to a Belvedier Grant from the Maine Community Foundation and generous donations from you, our friends of Comins Hall, we have a new roof to keep us dry for the next 25 years.  Thank you Maine CF!! And don’t those 140 year old chimneys look great? Thank you Davis Family Foundation for the grant that made their restoration possible.
