a comedy about depression!

Directed by Daniel Burson

When you start a new job, you don’t expect to have to worry about a tiger lurking in the streets, kid-napped chihuahuas, and a rifle toting boss. Tigers Be Still takes us on a journey with Sherry Wickman, a 24-year-old girl who has climbed her way out of depression and is beginning her new job as an art teacher. Now she just has to figure out how to live her new life while dealing with those things, plus a sister and mother who won’t leave the house and a therapy patient who doesn’t want to be there. This is a warm, quirky comedy that will have you singing Danger Zone all the way home.

Tickets: $10

Fifth Annual New 24 Hour Play Festival

posted Sep 23, 2016, 6:08 AM by Irelann Kerry Anderson   [ updated Sep 25, 2016, 2:16 PM ]

Be at the Hall by 7 p.m. Saturday October 1st to see at least 5 Plays that didn't exist on Friday  the 30th at 5 p.m.
How cool is that???!!!!
Ten Bucks Theatre, for the fifth time, is gathering actors, writers, directors and tech lovers of theatre at the Eddington Clifton Civic Center (Comins Hall) to create and present in 24 hours a collection of original short plays both humorous and thought provoking.  Participants will gather on Friday night at 5 pm to start the process of creating all new works.  At 7 p.m. on Saturday they will be ready for your viewing.
That's right - only 24 hours and magic happens.
All scripts are family friendly so bring your kids and your grandparents.
The money raised  at this event is dedicated to improving the theatre elements of our 105 year old McGinley stage in the 137 year old Shaw Auditorium.
The best $5 "suggested donation" you will make this year!  Do the math - that is 1 thin dollar per play.  WOW!!!
The Hall says: "Thank you TBT for making your home at the Eddington Clifton Civic Center since 2009 and for creating this great fundraiser!"
Box office and concessions open at 6 PM.  House opens at 6:30 p.m.
