August supper factoid: In addition to workers at the supper, this month 14 pies and 3 cakes are baked, 40 lbs of potatoes are peeled, a bushel of fresh veggies are donated and prepped, 2+ gallons of gravy are made from scratch and 11 turkeys will give up their lives to make a great meal. All by volunteers (except the turkeys – they don’t get a vote)
